NAS – O Lord, Thou hast searched me and known me.

          Fear

          Paralyzing fear

          Because what’s lying there

          Scares me

          Ambivalence

          Mind-altering ambivalence

          Because deep inside, my core is not good

          Shutting down perfection

Ignites something

          Sadness

          Overwhelming sadness

          Because if You are all that is good

          I am unlovable

          Anger

          Consuming, white-hot anger

          Because what I crave, I cannot control

          I cannot change

Ignites something

          Serenity

          Deep level, under-the-chaos serenity

          Because somewhere, at sometime, someone

          Cared enough to probe

          Hope

          Fragile and feeble hope

          Because even if I wanted to try

          There is no pretending
